These ranges cover the pairs most in demand here: French, German, Dutch, English. For a rarer language (Turkish, Arabic, Polish, Romanian, Chinese…) or a high volume, only the individual quote is binding. All amounts include taxes.

Questions about our rates
What determines the price of a translation?
Four parameters: the language pair, the field, the word count and the deadline. A German or Dutch document, of which we handle several copies a week, is not priced like a language few sworn translators practise in Belgium. A standard translation is counted per word of the source text, a sworn translation per page of 250 words, with every page started counting as a full page. Whatever the translation memory recovers from an earlier file is not charged again at full rate.
Is the quote really free?
Yes, and you are under no obligation afterwards. Upload the document in the form: the firm amount comes back within the working hour. A sharp photo taken on a phone is enough to quote from, no scanner needed.
How does payment work?
Everything goes through bank transfer. Accept the quote and you receive our account details; work begins once the payment arrives. Anyone sending us work regularly, businesses, public bodies and professional practices, can switch to monthly invoicing.
Can the amount change once the quote is accepted?
No. The accepted quote is firm, taxes included, and covers translation, revision and delivery. Only two lines can still be added, urgency and legalisation of the signature; they appear before you confirm, never afterwards. Our terms and conditions set out the applicable tax treatment.
Does the express service run at weekends?
Yes, public holidays included. In most cases a sworn translation is ready after 24 hours: you receive the signed PDF by email and the stamped copy leaves by registered post the same day. The surcharge is announced on the quote before you confirm: +50 % for 24 h, +75 % for 12 h, +100 % for 6 h.
Will the invoice work for my bookkeeping?
Yes. Every assignment comes with an itemised invoice by email: description of the service, file reference and all the wording your bookkeeping will require.
